Think you have what it takes to be an esports announcer? Hi-Rez is giving people the opportunity to do so with The Caster competition!
Hi-Rez Studios, well known in the esports scene due to it’s MOBA game SMITE, is looking to shake things up in order to find the next top talent of esports casters. The studio recently announced The Caster: a competition reality show much like what you see today on TV.
After Hi-Rez reviews all the auditions, they will choose and invite ten contestants for the show which will be held in Alpharetta, GA. These contestants will be pitted against one another in esports casting. The winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize and the opportunity to cast at Hi-Rez Expo 2018 where the annual worlds for SMITE and Paladins are held.
Whether you’re an amateur or a professional caster, you can enter. Simply make a 60 second audition video of you saying why you should be on the show and attach it to your application form which can be found on The Caster site. Submissions close on April 10th so if you’re interested, better hop to it!
